Synopsis

Princess Thetis of the Carnes Empire was eagerly awaiting her wedding to her cherished fiancé, Romain. But in a single night, her world shattered. After receiving Romain’s frantic message claiming her parents had been attacked by a rival nation, Thetis rushed to give him her imperial seal. That very seal became the tool used to brand her brother, Crown Prince Theodore, a traitor, and have him executed. Romain had been after the throne all along. Using Thetis as his pawn, he slaughtered the imperial family and claimed the crown for himself. Stripped of everything and confined to a monastery by the new Emperor Romain, Thetis attempted to end her own life, but instead chose vengeance. She returned to the capital, determined to make him pay. Forced by Romain to take the position of Empress, Thetis stands at his side… when a face she thought long forgotten suddenly reappears before her.
